Cycling Guide now covers all of Nova Scotia

We’re excited to announce that our free Cycling Guide mobile app now finds the best available low-stress, cycling-friendly routes across the entire province of Nova Scotia.
Whether you’re in Sydney, or at the other end of the province in Yarmouth, Cycling Guide will deliver routes to your local destinations. And since coverage is now province-wide, you can even use it to find routes between communities.
Thanks to feedback from our closed-beta testers, search capabilities within the province have been improved. All riders will benefit from recently introduced new features such as clearly labelled roads and trails along the chosen route, including while you’re cycling with the app.
This is the first time that Cycling Guide routes have been provided in an entire province. Because the underlying OpenStreetMap data is so extensive and varied, we want more real-world verification before calling it done — so we’re releasing this as a Public Beta. We’d love for you to try it out and tell us where the routes could be better. Common fixes include adding a local trail, flagging a rough trail as unsuitable for many riders, or making sure a local business turns up in search. As always, you can send feedback in the app.

Happy cycling!
